Kerry J. Rumore

Kerry Rumore is a nationally certified massage therapist and a graduate of the Muscular Therapy Institute in Cambridge, MA (now Cortiva Institute-Boston in Watertown), where she also continued her work as a teaching assistant. Kerry thrives on continuously studying and learning about healing.  She has extensive training in craniosacral therapy and incorporates various modalities in her sessions including: muscular therapy, myofasical release techniques and neuromuscular therapy. She supports clients to raise awareness of where tension is held in their bodies, heal from injuries and discomfort, and maintain a balanced, whole and healthy self.

Kerry's decision to become a massage therapist was inspired by a powerful experience receiving massage which brought a great sense of calm and peace.  She felt empowered and safe in her body, with a greater awareness of what she needed to do to heal.  Kerry brings that same intention to her own work with each of her clients.  She sees massage as part of a preventative health care measure which she herself uses to increase comfort, energy, flexibility and clarity. She is passionate about educating clients on how regular massage can help maintain optimal health, while also helping to greatly decrease pain, discomfort and injury. Kerry has witnessed both in her own life and in the lives of others the healing and affirming effects of massage therapy.

Kerry works with a broad client base and takes a special interest in creating individualized treatments based on each client's needs.  Additionally, Kerry has previously worked with athletes at the Boston Marathon, the Pan-Mass Challenge and with the track and field team at Boston University.
